At Seaport Windows and Doors, one of our specialties is what we call exterior face lifts. In this type of project we remove the existing front elevation material, such as the old wood siding and replace it with contemporary materials to bring your home into the “NOW”. We are very product knowledgeable and will help select new sidings, trims, stucco finish and color, stone and/or brick to give your home a complete new front elevation look.
Our focus is on composites and weather resistant materials that will give you a great look without creating a maintenance commitment that you will eventually not be able to keep. We create new looks that require absolutely minimum maintenance.
The basis of the exterior face lifts is typically new windows and even a new entry door system. But the most visible portions of the exterior face lifts become the trim packages, the textures and the colors, that transform your home from “THEN” to “NOW”.
During the exterior face lifts process we are typically down to bare studs on the exterior, which allows us to load up the wall with new, highly efficient Eco Insulation for a very energy efficient condition. We also may take the opportunity to add a Christmas light plug on the exterior with a new switch at the front door. While the walls are open, the options are almost endless.
